the mirror never lies

it’s the girl behind the eyes

what’s she lying about

worried she might find out

keeping up appearances that never appear

in the mirror

Do you see your magnificence when you’re looking back at yourself?

Ready to release the self-doubt that drives the mirror judgements?

Wanna give it a try?

  1. Lovely poem! I think this is an issue for most women. It took me years of self-abuse (eating disorders…) to be able to break through and look at myself with love rather than loathing. But it’s so worth all the work I did!

Mirrors show now what you “look like” but how you see yourself :-)

    Much love and blessings!

    1. Hallo Sibylle. Thanks for dropping by. I agree, no matter how daunting it looks on the front end, all the work is ALWAYS worth it. It’s unimaginable. CJ
